Savascript® Prescription Discount Card

We have partnered with Savascript® to introduce the POECU Savascript® card to our members.

Savascript® is a prescription discount card program that helps consumers save money on their prescription medications, while also benefiting non-profit and not-for-profit organizations that have seen a significant decrease in revenue throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. 

This card is 100% free with no obligations whatsoever. When filling a prescription, present both your insurance card and the Savascript® card and ask which one gives you the lower co-pay.  You can also check the Savascript® website (www.savascript.com) and select Search for the Lowest Price.  Depending on the prescription, the price offered when using this card is even less than your insurance co-pay, with savings averaging about 81%, but we have seen some savings as high as 95%! 

This card is similar to most other prescription discount cards you’ve probably heard of, but another benefit of using this card is to our credit union. For every single transaction using the POECU Savascript® card, POECU receives revenue (similar to interchange income on credit cards)! This is a win-win for both you, our member, and for POECU.
